Alanya International Culture and Art Festival has been organised every year since 2001. The last Saturday and Sunday of the month of May the town celebrates the area’s culture, but also one of its sister cities from around Europe to contribute too.
From at the end of May or beginning of June at Alanya Harbour, the Tourism and Arts Festival marks the beginning of the tourism season. There is a three-day event full of concerts, dance performances, presentations and arts and handcraft exhibitions.
Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hosted the Alanya Documentary Festival since 2001. The festival is organised by the Alanya Cinémathèque Society and the Association of Documentary Filmmakers in Turkey.
The Kızıl Kule is a historical tower and home to the municipal ethnographic museum as well as the location of the city's Jazz Days. The festival has been held since 2002 hosting Turkish and international jazz musicians in a series of five free concerts.
