Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the Developer plan?

Just sign up and you will get access to our API. Your monthly credits will automatically be assigned to you. No credit card is required for this plan.

What happens when I exceed my credit quota?

We will send you notifications as you near your monthly quota. If you would like to continue using the service you will need to purchase On Demand credits before your quota expires. You could also upgrade to a higher plan and get additional credits.

Can I use up all my plan credits in a short span of time?

Based on your plan we have implemented rate limits on the # of requests you can make to our API. We recommend that you subscribe at least to the Pro plan if you aim to use our API for commercial purposes.

Is this a long-term commitment?

No, there is no long-term contract. The Triposo API is a pay-as-you-go service and you'll pay month-to-month. If you ever need to cancel, you can do so at any time. Billing will stop at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards through Stripe. Our Business customers can also avail of our monthly invoicing service.

What if I need access to all of your data immediately?

The Enterprise plan would be a great fit for you. Contact us and we will set you up with our data transfer service that allows you to store data locally and use the API for frequent refreshes.

How are credits calculated?

We benchmarked the API calls for each of our endpoints and then converted them into credits to allow you to easily understand the weight of each call.

How can I reach you?

Can I cache and store data locally for extended periods?

Caching is NOT allowed in our Developer and Pro plan. You are also not allowed to crawl our API. If you would like to store the data locally for extended periods send us an email and we will move you to the Business plan.

What is Affiliate monetization?

We have integrated with multiple providers such as Booking.com, Viator, Bookatable etc. The links that we provide in the API for these vendors have the Triposo Affiliate ID by default. The Affiliate Monetization feature allows you to replace this with your own Affiliate ID and earn 100% of the commission from our partners. This feature is not available in the Developer plan.

Can i carry forward my credits to the next billing cycle?

Bundled plan credits expire with each billing cycle. If you have purchased additional On Demand credits then those will carry forward and will be valid for up to 1 year.

Can I downgrade to the free plan after the Trial Period on the Pro?

Yes. Once you add your credit card, you will be eligible for the FREE 15 day Trial Period on the Pro plan. Your card will automatically be charged post the trial. If you would like to downgrade you can just change your plan in the Billing section of your console. You will automatically switch to the downgraded plan at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

What happens to my credits if I upgrade to a higher plan?

Your existing credits will carry forward (pro-rated) and you will get access to the additional credits of the higher plan. Your billing cycle will reset and you will have a new start date in line with your subscription of your new plan.
