Bilbao is the capital of Vizcaya in the Basque Country. The city is situated on the banks of the Nervión, a tidal river. Palmyra is in Syria.
Palmyra (the Roman name) is known as Tadmor to the Syrians. Both mean the same thing - date palm. The name comes from the lush oasis adjacent to the city which is home to some million date palms. It is the only oasis in Syria and perhaps the only truly tourist town.

Hama (حماه,) is a city in Syria - population around 400,000.
Hama is well connected by bus with other Syrian towns such as Aleppo, Damascus and Tartus. The bus station is a little way from the town center and the railway station is further away. Connections are unreliable and the trains leave at odd times. The bus is a better bet.
Taxi or Service. You should never spend more than 20 Syrian Pounds on a Taxi within the city.
